HireEZ — Monthly Newsletter
HireEZ is a software company focusing on outbound talent acquisition services for recruiters. Fall of 2022 we rebranded the company's marketing newsletters to have a more modern approach. This newsletter rebrand had a direct 20% increase in Click-Through Rate (CTR) that was communicated to me though our email coordinator.
Approach
My approach to this was using photography related to subject matter blended casually with the body of the email. Since emails work in column blocks, a two grid system was beneficial with a zig zag approach to eye the eyes engaged. We had three main purposes for these newsletters, outbound recruitment news, spreading awareness of the company's education platform EZ Academy, and increasing our blog's key performance indicators (KPI).
HireEZ — EZ Academy Newsletter
EZ Academy was the company's platform to help educate recruiters on what outbound recruitment was and how it could benefit their services. Launched Jan 2023 we experimented with various visual strategies to increase our brand presence.
Approach
These 3 layouts were the start of forming EZ Academy's marketing brand. I wrote the copy and headlines for these emails to stretch creative muscles. Our copywriters had a distinct LinkedIn voice in their copy and I wanted to blend that with some welcoming millennial lingo. I went for grayscale photography to blend into the shadows and let the azure blues shine on the page. This way your eyes would feel relaxed in imagery, and then focused to content, scanning further down the page.
