Curana Health — Appointment Schedule Flyer
Curana Health is a senior living entity that focus on insurance benefit offerings and facility options for its members. Curana Health manages a portfolio of ten brands that each have their own region reach in their respected states. The purpose of this flyer is to communicate an easy alternative to scheduling appointments by using QR codes with a members phone. The flyer needed to communicate the simplicity of this goal and offer imagery for quick scan-ability.
Approach
This flyer was specifically delivered to Align Senior Care members, one of Curana Health's managed brands. Their brand colors using jade greens, skyline blue and navy represented in text hierarchy and leaf brand elements. Navy being a primary palette for contrast per ADA guidelines. Halftone styled hands in grayscale were chosen for visuals to not distract from the copy and to offer live action representation of action. Since the scheduling function of the QR was the main focus, no detail was needed on the phone screens. This flyer was highly appreciated by care providers given to their senior members.
Curana Health — Annual Enrollment Flyer
All healthcare providers experience the rush of autumn's annual enrollment season. Curana Health and it's managed brands all need to submit documentation during late summer to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for approval before any member may enroll. Documentation of benefits and services is a pivotal piece during enrollment season, and these documents being visually appealing being a primary focus.
Approach
These flyers each show their brand's style in their benefit presentation. Align Senior Care, KeyCare Advantage, AgeRight Advantage, LifeWorks Advantage, ProCare Advantage, Perennial Advantage, and PruittHealth Premier being shown in these images. Since they all belong to the parent brand of Curana Health they do take on a similar likeness to their layout. Members are usually drawn to enticing offers and $0 monthly plan premiums usually take front and center. Illustrated icons highlighted in the center to immediately address benefit offerings. Performance benchmarks always being helpful, the lower grid of these flyers "Ready to Learn More?" with a QR code attached help track geographical data since these flyers are delivered over 33 states.
Brookdale — Benefits Flyer
Brookdale Senior Living specializes in retirement communities for its members and is the largest operator of senior housing in the United States, with over 60,000 residents. During 2019, Brookdale's marketing team was going through a rebranding to appeal more modern and approachable. These new styles incorporated cheerful members with watercolor dynamic lights to symbolize positive energy.
Approach
My contract with Brookdale was to assistant in this rebrand by creating flyers detailing their community benefits. These images were using facility photos, highlighting members on top of a grayscale background, and blending in an aurora borealis between them. Brookdale's footer and brand icon included to easily establish the author of these flyers.
Brookdale — Benefits Tri-Fold
In addition to benefit flyers being delivered to members, tri-fold brochures were displayed for benefit insight. These brochures included similar imagery displayed in the benefits flyer. Aurora borealis circling cheerful members with the the brochure title being positioned on the cover bottom. The inside spread did not include this light dance to focus purely on the interaction between member and provider.
